How To Connect Your Stripe Terminal To Bookee

2. How to register your Stripe Terminal
Once you have received the device, you can follow the below steps

1. Login to your Bookee account, navigate to Apps

2. On the Apps page click on Stripe, A pop-up screen opens up where you can navigate to the Hardware tab

3. Click on Register new reader (Before, you start with the registration you will have to ensure that your Studio location is added to your Stripe account)

4. To add studio location to your stripe account, you can follow the below steps: * Login to your Stripe account > Dashboard * On the dashboard, Select Payments and click on Locations on the left-hand side * To add your studio location you can click on + New and enter the details

🚨 Make sure that your Stripe terminal and the Bookee CRM are connected to the same wifi network

The terminal will get registered with your stripe account but it will not get connected to CRM if you are not on the same network i.e. WiFi.

Registering a Reader
Once you click on register new reader, You can follow the below steps

👉 Step 1: Enter the Key sequence showing on Bookee in your Stripe card reader

1. On the stripe terminal, swipe right and click on settings. This will direct you to Enter the admin pin

2. Enter the key sequence displaying on your Bookee CRM i.e., 👉 Step 2: Get the Registration code from your Stripe card reader

1. Once you entered the pin, it would direct you to Admin Option where you have to select the Generate pairing code option

2. You will be directed to Register this reader page, where you will see a code which you will have to enter in the Registration code box on Bookee CRM

👉 Step 3: Reader lable

1. Enter a name for the reader, In case you have multiple card readers you will be able to identify and connect to the reader using the name

👉 Step 4: Select location

1. Select the Studio location from the dropdown

2. In order for the location to show up under dropdown, you will first have to add the locations in your Stripe Account.

Once you entered all the above details click on Register, and the card reader will be registered

You can register multiple devices following the same process

3. Connecting the Stripe card reader to collect payments
Once the card reader is registered, you can follow the below steps to connect the card to collect payments

1. Navigate to the POS page

2. On the right-hand side bottom, you will see a card reader option, click on it

3. Click on scan for readers

4. Once the card reader shows up, click on connect

The card reader will now be connected to Bookee POS and you can start collecting payments using it

Once a card reader is registered you do not have to register it again, it would automatically show up under the POS card reader
