Edinburgh Christmas Market Food And Drink Prices Revealed With Hot Toddies And Mulled Wine On The Menu

EDINBURGH’S Christmas Market is back this year with punters flocking to the capital’s much-loved festive tradition.

Shoppers have been enjoying the treats and boozy drinks on offer at the New Town attraction.

And locals were keen to take full advantage of festivities returning to normal with Christmas just weeks away.

Many stalls are serving up hot drinks for the cold nights with mulled wine and cider on the menu.

And we’ve got you covered with a breakdown of the drink prices at the market.

Punters can enjoy a cup of mulled wine for or a variety of different mulled ciders for £6.

Hot chocolate with the full works of cream and marshmallows is also on the menu for around £4 – or you can upgrade to a rich and indulgent salted caramel hot chocolate for £6.

For £7, a fruity hot toddy is up for grabs which includes Highland Park whisky which has been given a festive makeover with apple, honey and spiced orange flavours.

Revellers can also enjoy a half pint of German beer for £4.

For those with a sweet tooth churros and fresh doughnuts are on offer at various food stalls.

Shoppers can grab some churros for £7 and four fresh doughnuts with cream or Nutella for £5.

Away from the food stalls, there’s plenty on offer for families looking to enjoy a fun day out together over the Christmas period.

The iconic festive Ferris wheel is back and kids can go and visit Santa and his Elves in nearby West Princes Street Gardens.

And the festive ice rink is also opening again for anyone hoping to do a bit of skating.

The Christmas market is on until January 4.
